Solar Hot Water

Solarflair are major installers of Solar Hot Water Heating Systems in the North West.
Being Microgeneration Accredited allows us not only to offer Water Heating Systems to provide FREE hot water but also allows our customers access to the funds provided by the government's grant scheme, The Renewable Heat Incentive. This means that our customers receive payback each year from the Government at a rate set by the size of the system.

Prices for a Solar Thermal Hot Water Heating Systems vary according to how much hot water you need to heat and the complexity of the installation, but in general the cheapest system in an average 2/3 bedroom house can be installed for around £3000 rising to around £5000 for large domestic systems.

If you have a system already installed it is likely that your original installation company is no longer trading .

For £130 inc vat we can offer a full service. This would include a system flush to remove sludge and debris, a pressure test, re-charge with fresh anti-freeze, expansion vessel pressure check and re-charge if required.

Solar Photo-Voltaic (PV)

Solarflair are major installers of Solar PV Electric Systems in the North West.

Being Microgeneration Accredited allows us not only to offer Solar Photo Voltaic Systems to provide FREE electricity but also allows our customers access to the funds provided by the Feed in Tariffs of government’s grant scheme. This means that our customers receive payback each year from the Government as every KWh produced by the system is recorded and all the energy generated is paid at the current Feed in Tariff rate.

Again if you have a system already installed it is likely that your original installation company is no longer trading.

The most common problem you will have with any solar Pv system will be at the inverter. This will be shown by no power being produced , a steady red light on your generation meter in daylight hours, your display unit if ,you have one ,showing no power output or possibly a red light on the inverter. You can try resetting the inverter by turning off both the AC and DC isolators next to the inverter , leave for one minute then turn back on again.

If this fails to start the inverter get in touch with us. We can check the installation and replace the inverter if required. Most inverters will come with a five year warranty .
